As Commercial Director, you will shape and lead the commercial strategy of Quality Assistance. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will sit at the heart of key decisions: where we play, how we grow, and how we build long-term value with our clients.

The challenge is to rethink our commercial model and structure, to question existing practices and build a high-impact sales vision aligned with the organisationโ€™s current and future needs. Your success will be measured through valuable and sustainable growth without ever compromising scientific integrity or quality.

Commercial strategy and sustainable business growth
  • Develop, set and deploy the commercial strategy in line with the Boardโ€™s long-term ambitions
  • Translate strategic objectives into concrete business development plans, priorities and results
  • Continuously assess markets, trends and opportunities to adjust the strategy if required
  • Analyse markets, client needs and growth opportunities across Life-Sciences ecosystem (Pharma, Biotech, start-ups and CDMOs)
  • Open new markets and accelerate expansion across targeted modalities, geographies and service lines
  • Drive business development activities to deliver sustainable and profitable revenue growth
People leadership and organisational development
  • Design, lead, inspire and grow commercial team of ten sales talents
  • Provide operational guidance and coaching
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration
  • Support teams through growth, transformation and change
Strategic key accounts and long-term client partnerships
  • Develop and manage strategic sales initiatives with long and complex sales cycles
  • Lead high-level negotiations with key accounts and C-level decision-makers
  • Structure pricing strategies that reflect scientific value, risk and operational capacity
  • Position Quality Assistance as a trusted scientific and strategic partner
  • Develop strong, durable relationships based on credibility, transparency and delivery quality
  • Contribute actively to the retention and development of strategic accounts
  • Track commercial performance through KPIs, pipeline reviews and reliable forecasts
  • Oversee commercial governance, including market analysis and strategic positioning
  • Monitor budgets, resource allocation, service quality and risk management
Business capability alignment
  • Ensure alignment between commercial commitments and scientific and operational capacities in respect of our quality and compliance standards
  • Contribute to service offering positioning based on market analysis and internal capabilities
Skills you'll need to bring

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

  • Proven senior-level experience (10โ€“15 years) in commercial leadership or executivecommercial roles within Life-Sciences ecosystem (Pharma, Biotech, CRO/CLO/CDMO) combined with an extensive and active industry network
  • University degree in pharmaceutical sciences, engineering or a related scientific field, and/or in management, business and strategy
  • Strong understanding of scientific, regulatory and quality-related challenges in the pharmaceutical environment
  • Demonstrated successful experience in leading and developing commercial team
  • Proven track record in designing and executing complex B2B growth strategies in an international context
  • Persuasive communication and strong negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Full professional fluency in English and French, written and spoken - (C1 level), proficiency in another language is a plus.
