Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, or 5 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience in the consumer electronics, auto, OEMs, telecom, e-Commerce/retail, apps, ads, gaming, or technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience operating within and across cross-functional teams (Product Management, Engineering, Legal, Finance, Marketing, etc.) to drive successful partnerships or projects.
  • Experience in partner management including handling sensitive partnerships in policy-complex contexts.
  • Experience with partner management or business development in online advertising, data onboarding, or adtech.
  • Experience identifying partners, analyzing and structuring complex agreements with a proven track record of success in negotiation and execution.

As a Strategic Partner Development Manager, you'll open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions and evaluate/develop business opportunities. You will lead cross-functional teams, provide thought leadership and serve as a mentor to managers and associates. You are comfortable escalating and presenting business development strategies and key issues to senior management. You'll work closely with Google Product, Engineering, Legal and Sales teams on new product initiatives and key strategic relationships that support our online advertising business.

The Global Ads Partnerships (GAP) team helps power and scale Googleโ€™s Ads products via strategic relationships with third-parties in the advertising ecosystem - including data providers, adtech and mar tech platforms and research companies. Partnerships are critical to enabling the Ads product areas most complex and strategic products. You will help drive the success of our Ads Platforms products and partnerships.

This team develops strategic partnerships to power and enable privacy-safe solutions for advertiser and publisher journeys on Googleโ€™s Ad Platforms that are critical to access advertiser demand, publisher inventory, measuring Googleโ€™s impact and generating insights. You possess strong strategic business development and relationship-building skills and are effective at communicating with both business and technical leaders.
