Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Description

The Business Development Manager identifies and secures new business opportunities, builds strategic partnerships, and expands market presence in aerospace, defense, naval, and commercial sectors. This role works closely with the Vice President of Business Development to develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy that supports the company’s growth objectives, particularly in advanced composite radomes, reflectors, and structural composite products used in critical communications and radar applications.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads and business opportunities through multiple channels that align with the company’s product portfolio in radomes, composite structures, and related solutions.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients, key decision makers, and target accounts within aerospace, defense, naval, and commercial industries.
  • Leverage competitive market intelligence to develop and refine business development strategies and go-to-market plans.
  • Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their challenges and position company products as effective solutions.
  • Stay informed about emerging industry trends, competitive offerings, and market growth opportunities to proactively shape business development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions, opportunities, and activities using Salesforce CRM, and manage a robust pipeline of leads.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, developing innovative sales strategies, and closing deals to meet or exceed targets.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure alignment and synergy in business development efforts.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of product marketing materials that effectively communicate value propositions to target markets.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators such as lead conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and revenue generated from qualified leads to evaluate and improve performance.
  • Represent the company in interactions with aerospace and defense industry partners, strengthening connectivity and expanding the partner ecosystem.
  • Travel domestically and internationally, as needed (up to approximately 50% of the time), to meet clients, attend industry events, and support business development initiatives.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
