  • Coordinate new account and channel launches with internal teams to ensure alignment on pricing, product availability, customer setup, logistics, marketing support, and launch timelines.
  • Develop strategies to turn pilots, events, local placements, and initial orders into repeatable and sustainable business.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline information, including opportunity status, expected volume, launch timing, risks, and next steps.
  • Provide regular business development updates, insights, and recommendations to sales leadership.
  • Monitor market and customer trends and recommend opportunities related to channels, products, packaging, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  • Partner with key account, distribution, and field sales teams as new accounts grow and transition into established business.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, channel development, or a related commercial role.
  • Experience in CPG, beverage, food, wellness, retail, distribution, hospitality, or a related industry is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, prospect, qualify, develop, and convert new business opportunities.
  • Experience working with specialty, multicultural, Asian, international, or emerging-market customers is highly valued.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong commercial judgment with the ability to evaluate business opportunities and prioritize those with the greatest growth potential.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously while maintaining strong follow-through.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where new channels and processes are continuously being developed.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Bilingual capabilities and/or experience working across multicultural markets are a plus.

Travel

  • Approximately 30%–40% travel may be required for customer meetings, market visits, industry events, account development, and other business needs.
