The Director, Strategy & Operations is an execution-oriented strategist - someone who owns complex initiatives end-to-end and drives them to outcomes. You will work directly with the CEO and business leaders on high-priority programs spanning strategy, corporate development, and cross-functional execution. This is a global role.
You'll thrive in this hybrid role surrounded by an engaged, collaborative team deeply committed to your success. Join us and help shape what's next!
What you'll get:
  • Meaningful Purpose. Your work helps organizations operate with integrity and protect their people-at a scale few companies can match.
  • High-Performance Environment. We move with urgency, set ambitious goals, and expect excellence. You'll be trusted with real ownership and supported to do the best work of your career.
  • Candid, Supportive Culture. We communicate openly, challenge ideas-not people-and value teammates who embrace bold thinking and continuous improvement.
  • Growth That Matters. You can count on authentic feedback, strong accountability, and leaders invested in your success so you can achieve real growth.
  • Rewards for Results. We provide clear, competitive compensation designed to recognize measurable outcomes and real impact.

What you'll do:
  • Own the strategic substance and outcomes of priority growth and value creation initiatives sponsored by the Chief Strategy Officer
  • Lead complex cross-functional programs with clear accountability, timelines, and measurable outcomes
  • Shape and evolve NAVEX's enterprise strategy by synthesizing market, customer, financial, and operational insights into clear strategic recommendations
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to the Chief Strategy Officer, pressure-testing ideas and representing the CSO perspective in working forums as appropriate
  • Help structure ambiguous problems into clear workstreams and decisions, amplifying the impact of analysts and specialists across the team
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, decision memos, and briefing materials for senior leadership and board discussions
  • Identify strategic growth opportunities and operational expansion initiatives
  • Evaluate investment opportunities, market adjacencies, and competitive positioning
  • Support corporate development initiatives including market scanning, partnership evaluation, M&A assessments, and build/buy/partner analysis

What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience in McKinsey/Bain/BCG/Kearney/Oliver Wyman/Deloitte Consulting/Accenture/EY Parthenon and/or corporate strategy, growth strategy, or related roles
  • Management/operating experience at a high-growth technology company is preferred
  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders without formal authority
  • Exceptional communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational execution
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled workflows, automation platforms, and business intelligence tools
  • Strong strategic judgment with the ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
  • Culture Agility. Comfort working in a fast-paced, candid environment that values innovation, healthy debate, and follow-through
  • AI Readiness. Curiosity and willingness to use AI and emerging technologies to elevate your work and deliver smarter outcomes
  • Fuel performance and outcomes. Leverage your job competencies and champion NAVEX's core values

Our side of the deal:
  • We'll be clear, we'll move fast, and we'll invest in your success. You deserve to be supported, challenged, and rewarded for the impact you make-and we commit to doing that every step of the way.
