Summary
The Strategic Growth Executive is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth through a combination of strategic account management, new business development, consultative selling, and expansion of existing client relationships. This role owns a portfolio of strategic client relationships while creating and executing a pipeline development strategy focused on acquiring new clients and expanding SeaChange's presence within existing accounts. The Strategic Growth Executive serves as a trusted advisor to clients and collaborates across Operations, Technology, and Customer Experience, to sell solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute annual account growth and prospecting plans.
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Generate opportunities through networking, referrals, social selling, industry events, strategic partnerships, and outreach.
  • Achieve revenue, retention, profitability, and activity goals established by SeaChange.
  • Develop strategic account plans for assigned customers.
  • Identify and pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Store, Campaign, and Flow solutions.
  • Lead discovery meetings, business reviews, facility tours, and executive presentations.
  • Evaluate customer processes and recommend solutions that improve outcomes and efficiency.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle including prospecting, qualification, proposal development, RFP responses, negotiations, contracting, and closing.
  • Maintain close interaction with current and prospective clients through meetings, phone calls, virtual meetings, and email communications.
  • Coordinate internal resources to develop pricing, solutions, timelines, and implementation plans.
  • Partner with Operations and Client Experience teams to ensure successful onboarding and account transitions.
  • Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting, and CRM management.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client business needs.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships within client organizations.
  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns and escalations.
  • Support SeaChange culture and values while delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Travel as needed for customer, prospect, and industry meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, associate degree, or equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
  • 5+ years of B2B sales, business development, or strategic account management experience.
  • Experience within print, direct mail, marketing services, healthcare communications, promotional products, fulfillment, logistics, or related industries.
  • Experience with HubSpot (or similar CRM tools), and MIS platforms.
  • Experience leading RFP and complex solution sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success in both new business development and organic account growth.
  • Ability to sell and present to stakeholders ranging from operational contacts to senior executives.
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience using CRM technology and Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required.
