For the past decade, we have established strong product-market fit and a profitable, efficient operating model across a suite of products, positioning Perpay as the premier financial partner for consumers with subprime credit.
With over 500,000 customers who have utilized more than $1 billion in spending power, we are at a pivotal moment. We are scaling our operations, building new offerings, and deepening our impact. We are looking for teammates eager to join us on this journey.
Our venture partners include First Round Capital and L Catterton.
Products we've built to make an impact:
  • Perpay Marketplace: Combines interest-free payments and modern e-commerce to reduce cost of ownership and promote healthy repayment behavior.
  • Perpay+: Leverages Marketplace repayment history to help members monitor and build credit with all 3 credit bureaus.

Our team thrives on in-person collaboration, operating from our unique center-city Philadelphia office. This comfortable "home away from home" space offers river views and fosters rapid product development, strong relationships, and career growth. The energy from achieving big wins is palpable here. While we primarily work in the office, we offer sensible flexibility for personal needs, such as sick children or urgent errands, and coordinate official remote weeks around major holidays. If you are passionate about a meaningful mission, collaboration, equity, and generous perks, Perpay is the best place to be in Philadelphia right now.
About the Role:
Perpay is seeking a driven Analyst to join our team as a key player in growing our impact on our customers' financial futures. You will take on a pivotal role in breaking down complex business problems from across our organization, using data to uncover the factors at play, and formulating recommendations to help us take action intelligently.
In this role, you'll collaborate broadly and present your insights directly to company leadership. Your ability to think critically, dive deep into data, and communicate insights effectively will have a lasting impact on our organization's success. With the freedom to independently drive projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, you'll play a central role in building data-informed strategies that enhance our business.
This role is a perfect fit for someone who thrives amidst ambiguity, loves tackling tough problems, and wants to help build something big.
Our greatest strength is our people and we'd love for you to be one of them!
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze Complex Business Problems: Partner with stakeholders from across the business to define challenges, identify opportunities, and deliver data-driven insights.
  • Deliver Executive-Ready Recommendations: Translate analysis into clear, compelling recommendations, presenting them directly to senior leadership and influencing decision-making at the highest level.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Build strong relationships across teams to ensure data insights are actionable and impactful, fostering trust in our analytics team.
  • Dive Deep into Data: Write and execute advanced SQL queries and leverage Python or R to extract and analyze data, uncover trends, and solve problems with precision.
  • Support Business Growth: Develop analytics-backed strategies to grow our impact, improve operational efficiency, and unlock opportunities for our customers and organization.
  • Build Scalable Solutions: Contribute to the development of self-service BI tools and dashboards that empower teams to make data-informed decisions.
  • Thrive in Ambiguity: Drive projects forward with minimal direction, navigating uncertainty with creativity and determination to uncover solutions.
What You'll Bring:
  • Undergraduate or master's degree in a quantitative/STEM field (graduated in 2024-2026), or equivalent relevant experience
  • Experience framing and then solving problems through data analysis and quantitative thinking
  • Experience with Python and SQL
  • Impactful internship experience
  • Ability to communicate recommendations effectively verbally and in writing
