Job description

The Impact You Will Have:

As a Strategic Account Director for QTS, you will be responsible for driving and achieving sales goals by managing the business relationship of assigned strategic accounts. You will utilize resources to maximize revenue, sales growth, market share, productivity gains and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with key executives to gain a broad understanding of the various assigned accounts goals and strategies, both short and long term, to sell product solutions and build relationships with key decision-makers.

What You Will Do:

  • Identify and close new sales opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Develop, execute and maintain account planning and business review processes within assigned accounts.
  • Assist with the RFI and RFP responses within assigned accounts.
  • Develop customized proposals that present creative solutions to sell QTS product.
  • Organize and lead world-class customer presentations and data center tours.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly revenue targets.
  • Ensure and maintain minimum funnel goals are met or exceeded.
  • Manage daily business through the CRM tool and provide feedback on prospects and opportunities.
  • Independently establish and grow new and renew existing client base.
  • Identify, understand, and solve any obstacles or objections within the sales process.

What You Need to be Successful:

  • Minimum often years' experience in technology or commercial real estate sales/leasing working with large Enterprise or Hyperscale accounts.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical background with a minimum of five years' experience in the data center environment.
  • Demonstrated success driving business results within large Enterprise or Hyperscale accounts.

The Skills You Need:

  • Demonstrated experience selling with excellent negotiation skills at C- level.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify problem areas, trends, opportunities and take appropriate action to resolve often dealing with high stakes, tough customer conversations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-orientated and self-starting characteristics necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Consultative selling approach to closing business.
  • Strong data center market insight and an established business network that can generate meaningful business outcomes.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.

The estimated pay range for this role, if based in Virginia, is:

$146,250.00 - 223,655.25

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
