Job description

Rite of Passage Team is Hiring for a MAINTENANCE WORKER at Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek, Arizona
What you will do: The Maintenance Worker performs general building maintenance and repairs, including minor electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, flooring, HVAC, and grounds maintenance. This position also conducts preventative maintenance on facility equipment, responds to emergency maintenance calls, and assists with construction and remodeling projects as needed and within the individual's abilities.
About Canyon State Academy
Canyon State Academy is located on a scenic 180-acre campus surrounded by Farm student housing for 300 + youth, a Thrift Store, Café, Barbershop and Church open to the community incorporating life skills for our students. Along with a fully equipped weight room, football stadium, an athletic center (gymnasium, padded wrestling room & more).

Schedule

Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Must meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver.
  • Must possess a current State Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical and TB test.
  • Ability to utilize resources available to complete assigned projects.
