Summaryย 

Provides administrative support and assistance to the Purchasing Manager, and plant management as directed. Excellent customer service skills required, excellent attitude and ability to work in a high pace team environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesย include the following. Other duties may be assigned.ย 

Stores parts and equipment in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.

Fills orders or issues supplies/equipment from stock and assign them out in the inventory system.

Conduct inventory cycle counts and be able to make adjustments in the inventory system.ย 

Moves or transports material or supplies to other departments.

Maintains inventory and other stock records up to date.

Perform general customer service to maintenance and plant employees.ย 

Ensure government regulatory compliance, HACCP, SSOP, GMP, and SQF program for product performance and safety.

Maintain a strong commitment to safety in the operating process.

Other tasks deemed/directed by management.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or knowledge equivalent to.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.ย 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of management and customers.

Ability to plan work on a daily schedule, work independently and be a highly motivated individual.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.ย 

Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task and to work with accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to perform this job successfully, an individual should have a high proficiency of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Word Processing software.
