For nearly 70 years, Stella Maris has been a leading nursing home, providing Baltimore-area residents with a comprehensive range of health and residential services. We are currently recruiting for a Store Room Clerk to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our mission driven organization to provide excellent care to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Orders all products for St. Elizabeth cafeteria and assists with ordering products for the main kitchen and cafe.
  • Issues supplies to fill requisitions for all areas of the facility. Completes required paperwork accurately by the end of the shift.
  • Checks incoming dietary supplies for correct temperatures, weight, quantity and quality. Reconciles all invoices/packing slips of supplies received with purchase orders.
  • Stores food and rotates stock properly. Reports general condition and levels of stock to Manager before spoilage or return deadlines.
  • Ensures that all food required for menus is in supply by checking daily menus in advance and reporting shortages to management promptly.
  • Maintains security of dietary stores at all times.
  • Assists with the monthly physical inventory of storage stock.
  • Responsible for sanitation in all food storage areas.
