Job Summary:
The Receiving and Store Room Clerk works in the Store Room environment and is responsible enforcing proper inventory controls of products and good. This role will monitor and insure that all incoming deliveries are correct and distributed accordingly to departments. This is a full-time position, shift varies days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
This position will embody the Carolina Country Clubs Core Values.
Job Functions include:
  • Receives and records all incoming deliveries into the internal record keeping system.
  • Verifies incoming goods against invoices and inspects the condition of contents before accepting delivery.
  • Accepts or returns merchandise according to established company policies.
  • Organizes the distribution of merchandise to departments. Makes necessary verifications that the product is properly delivered to department(s).
  • Assembles containers, crates, packs goods for safe storage.
  • Rotates stock by date of received and freshness.
  • Processes and accurately picks products from the Kitchen Requisition, transports foods, products, supplies and other items to areas of use.
  • Assist with Inventory Count according to Club Policies.
  • Assures that all storage areas are locked according to the Club Policies.
  • Maintains an organized and clean store room, walk in freezers and storage shelves.
  • Assist in proper repair of equipment including freezers, hand trucks, lifts, elevators, and schedule for service as needed.
  • Knowing and adhering to CCC Employee Policies and working by the CCC Mission Statement.

  • Receiving and Store Room Experience: 1 Year preferred.
  • Ability to lift, push or pull 50 pounds or more. Will stand for long periods in store room, must climb stairs and enter freezers.
  • Proficient with computers, office equipment, programs such as North Star, MSOffice.
  • Ability to see and hear, or to use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that position requirements can be fully met.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Sound mental and physical health: ability to get along well with others, to demonstrate a high level of sensitivity and interest in people.
  • Ability to diffuse difficult situations that may arise and remain professional and friendly at all times.
