Description JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition Title: Inventory Assistant Department: Accounting Location: Greeley, CO Value Added PlantSalary Class: Salary Non-Exempt JBS is seeking a salary non-exempt Inventory Assistant! Position starts at $23.00 per hour. Benefits Include: Paid vacation and holidays Medical, dental and vision benefits 401(k) planBetter Futures ProgramCareer development opportunities Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Accurately and promptly input inventory adjustments to SAP for vendor received materials/parts and plant-to-plant transfers.Compile received invoices and packing lists with daily Receipt Evaluation Report.Reconcile vendor invoice discrepancies and work with accounting, Accounts Payable, and vendors to resolve any problems.Work through Goods Received/Invoice Received problems to resolution.Deliveries will require handling using any of the following: hand trucks, pallet jack, and fork lift.Receiving supplies into store room as they are brought inDistributing supplies to individuals that are coming in for suppliesPerform cycle counts and audits as needed to maintain inventory accuracyVerify physical counts of inventory identifying variances from previous dayAssist in maintaining chemical inventoryOther duties assignedQualifications:Excellent verbal and written communicationCustomer service and people skillsDetailed oriented and high level of accuracyOrganized and process drivenProactive/Self-Starter Punctual/DependableFlexibility Requirements:Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalency required, Bachelor's degree preferred.Experience: 2-3 years of experience in positions of accounting / inventory or similarBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredWork Environment:The work environment may include cold and/or hot temperatures, fast-paced setting, and exposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knives.
