In this position, you will be responsible for assisting with daily store operations, including opening and closing operations for events. They will support adherence to all warehouse standards for safety, customer service, product quality, operations and store cleanliness and serve as a role model & resource for other staff. The Shift Coordinator, while performing breaks or events, will influence the buyerโ€™s behavior through customer education, engagement, and enthusiastically promoting and demonstrating the product.

  • Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
  • Are a 18 years or older
  • Available to work 2-3 shifts per week, including weekends
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and stand for up to 6 hours
  • Are comfortable preparing, cooking, and cleaning work area and equipment
  • Are comfortable supporting demo events, ensuring carts, equipment and supplies are set up and removed properly
  • Engage Costco members through product demonstrations and education
  • Assist with food safety, sanitation, and daily safety inspections
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work location
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
  • Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
  • Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
