Stop-A-Minit is a chain of gas stations and convenience stores located throughout upstate South Carolina. We have been a long-standing structure in South Carolina, serving locals and travelers when they need to fill their gas tanks and grab a snack or hot meal. Our company was founded by Roland Drake in 1977 when he opened the first location in Honea Path, SC, as a full-service gas station. Stop-A-Minit continues to be a family-owned and operated business with Drake serving as the president and his sons, Brent and Tyler, as vice presidents. Throughout the years since its founding, the company has grown to its current size, which includes over 20 Stop-A-Minit stores. Because of our growth, weโ€™ve become one of the top chains in the area. Youโ€™ll find our locally owned stores scattered throughout upstate South Carolina within 60 miles of our Anderson-based business. Our sites are located in Anderson and many cities surrounding it, including Belton, Greenville, Honea Path, and Greenwood. At each of our sites, youโ€™ll have access to gas, air, an ATM, and other available offerings. Many of our locations include snacks and hot foods served up to take on-the-go or enjoy during your lunch break. Some feature a limited fast-food menu, while others include a full kitchen for broader meal options. The newest locations weโ€™ve added include a full deli for you to conveniently pick up a sandwich or grab some lunch meat to bring home. Plus, these latest stores are open 24 hours per day, so you can stop whenever you find yourself on the road.
