Position Overview

The Graphic Designer plays a key role in bringing the FEATURE brand to life through innovative design across product development, retail experiences, marketing initiatives, and brand collaborations. This position is responsible for developing original graphics and creative assets for FEATURE private label collections, collaborative products, retail activations, and marketing campaigns while ensuring consistency with the FEATURE brand identity and partner brand standards.

Working cross-functionally with Product Development, Brand Marketing, Retail Operations, Creative Leadership, and external brand partners, the Graphic Designer supports the creative process from concept through production by developing production-ready artwork, creating technical design documentation, reviewing product samples, and delivering compelling visual solutions that elevate the FEATURE brand. This role exercises sound creative judgment while balancing creativity, production feasibility, licensing requirements, partner brand standards, and business objectives.

Essential FunctionsProduct Design & Development
  • Design original graphics for FEATURE private label apparel, footwear, headwear, accessories, home goods, and seasonal collections.
  • Develop graphics, colorways, material layouts, and branding elements for collaborative products and footwear projects.
  • Support the cut-and-sew development process by creating graphics, artwork placement guides, trims, labels, patches, and other visual design elements.
  • Create packaging, hang tags, labels, stickers, and other branded materials supporting FEATURE products.
  • Develop mood boards, concept presentations, and visual inspiration for seasonal collections, collaborations, and special projects.
  • Research fashion, footwear, art, streetwear, and cultural trends to inspire innovative product and brand concepts.
Technical Design & Production Support
  • Create detailed tech packs, production-ready artwork packages, and supporting documentation that clearly communicate design intent to vendors and manufacturing partners.
  • Prepare production files that meet vendor specifications and manufacturing requirements.
  • Coordinate artwork deliverables to support seasonal calendars, sampling timelines, and production deadlines.
  • Communicate directly with domestic and international vendors, manufacturers, and production partners regarding artwork, revisions, specifications, approvals, and production questions.
  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with domestic and international vendors, manufacturers, licensors, and brand partners to support timely product development and accurate execution of approved designs.
  • Review strike-offs, Pantone colors, embroidery samples, print samples, trims, labels, patches, and other production proofs to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to approved designs.
  • Participate in collaborative sample reviews with Creative Leadership and Product Development, providing recommendations regarding graphics, colors, materials, branding, and overall execution.
  • Incorporate feedback into artwork and provide final graphic approvals once design requirements have been satisfied.
  • Review production samples to verify graphics, artwork placement, colors, branding, and overall execution accurately reflect approved designs.
Brand Collaborations & Licensing
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external brand partners on collaborative product and marketing initiatives.
  • Interpret and apply partner brand guidelines, licensing requirements, and creative standards across all design work.
  • Ensure collaborative products and marketing materials meet both FEATURE and partner approval requirements.
  • Develop presentations, mockups, and visual concepts for internal reviews, executive presentations, collaboration pitches, and partner meetings.
Retail, Marketing & Experiential Design
  • Design creative assets supporting retail stores, product launches, marketing campaigns, and brand activations.
  • Create window graphics, environmental graphics, vinyl decals, signage, point-of-purchase displays, branded merchandise, event graphics, and promotional materials.
  • Design logos and visual identities for branded events, activations, and special projects.
  • Develop digital and print assets supporting product launches, presentations, retail communications, and promotional initiatives.
Brand Stewardship & Creative Collaboration
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the FEATURE brand identity and ensure consistency across all creative work.
  • Protect the integrity of the FEATURE brand and partner brands by ensuring all creative work complies with applicable brand standards, licensing requirements, and approval processes.
  • Present creative concepts, mood boards, and visual inspiration throughout the design and development process.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Brand Marketing, Retail Operations, and other departments to develop creative solutions that support company objectives.
  • Maintain organized design files, artwork libraries, templates, and creative assets to support efficient collaboration and future use.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adapt to evolving business priorities by contributing to new initiatives, cross-functional projects, and special assignments that support FEATURE's continued growth and success.
Travel
  • Travel occasionally to retail locations, vendor meetings, collaboration meetings, trade shows, factories, photoshoots, and other business-related events as business needs require.

  • Experience creating production-ready artwork, tech packs, and technical design documentation preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Experience working with vendors, manufacturers, and production partners preferred.
  • Background or interest in fashion, footwear, streetwear, or lifestyle brands preferred.
