Description

The Retail Office Coordinator (Office Coordinator) must have a general understanding of the accounting processes and bookkeeping procedures for a retail environment. This includes cash counting, management of bank deposits, monitoring of store-level cash flow, balancing cash reserves, and understanding cashier processes and fraud prevention. The Office Coordinator often acts as a liaison between the Home Office teams and the store team.ย 


As a Murdoch's Team Member in this role, you will...

  • Commit to the success of the team by embracing Murdochs' mission, values, and principles.ย 
  • Display consistent and sound judgment when dealing with exchanges or returns in accordance with company policies and procedures.ย ย 
  • Practice service-oriented leadership within the department and cross-functionally throughout the store.ย 
  • Verify cashiers' shift closing reports.ย 
  • Prepare daily bank deposits and balance cash in safe and tills.ย 
  • Research gift cards and request corrections from Finance if necessary.ย 
  • Process accounts receivable payments sent to the store.ย 
  • Account for store-use charges and donations.ย 
  • Analyze team member purchase reports for store management.ย 
  • Submit reports and paperwork to Home Office.ย 
  • Process and send coupons to the Home Office.ย 
  • Process tax exceptions (non-MT states).ย 
  • Submit Paid Out/In reports.ย 
  • Monitor hourly team members' timecards for store management.ย 
  • Manage annual records retention.ย 
  • Process power equipment purchase warranties.ย 
  • Process trailer sales paperwork.ย 
  • Office supply management.ย 
  • Create and maintain a safe environment for customers and team members.ย
