Do you have mechanical aptitude and at least one year of shop or production experience?
This temp-to-hire Shop Assistant role at a company that produces rubber sealing solutions for airplanes could be a great way to start a long-term career in the aerospace manufacturing industry.

This facility manufactures seals, bearings, and composite parts used in aerospace applications. They offer a consistent schedule, work-life balance, and hands-on training while working alongside experienced machine operators and production teams. This is a supportive, team-oriented environment with opportunities to develop mechanical and manufacturing skills.

Shop Assistant Duties:
  • Assist machine operators with daily production tasks
  • Follow work orders and shop instructions
  • Support mold repairs and help determine repair needs
  • Communicate and work with production and management teams
  • Use hand tools and pneumatic tools for production tasks
  • Clean work areas and help maintain machines and equipment
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail
  • Lift and handle materials weighing up to 75 lbs.
 
Schedule:
Day Shift
Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
 
Pay: $21.65 - $24.00 per hour
Shop Assistant Requirements:
  • Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools
  • At least 1 year of experience in a shop, production, or manufacturing environment
  • Experience using tools such as hammers, wrenches, pneumatic tools, and air hose tools
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Comfortable working in active shop environments
  • High School Diploma or GED
