Job Title: Sr Technical Product Manager – Next-Gen POS & Credit Card Payments
Seattle based client

Role Overview
We’re seeking a Sr Technical Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of retail and digital payments for our Next-Generation POS solutions. You’ll drive innovation across POS, in-store transactions, and fraud prevention—delivering seamless, secure, and cost-effective guest experiences at scale.

Key Responsibilities
POS Systems for QSR
• Drive the roadmap for next-gen POS payment systems optimized for speed, reliability, and barista/cashier usability
• Deliver scalable POS payment solutions that enhance order throughput and reduce service time
• Collaborate with store operations and engineering to modernize POS architecture for omnichannel ordering
• Define and drive roadmap and solutions for POS credit card acceptance, including NFC tap-to-pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and chip transactions
• Define and drive roadmap and solutions for payment devices such as Verifone, Toast, Ingenico, Clover, Square
Digital Payments & Wallet
• Define and drive roadmap and solutions for the use of digital payments in-store, such as app-based QR codes for Scan & Pay
• Own PCI-compliant storage and tokenized payment systems for mobile and in-store transactions
• Manage a high-volume payment orchestration API supporting millions of daily card-present and card-not-present transactions
• Lead initiatives in network tokenization, least-cost routing, and mobile wallet integrations
• Oversee integrations with major processors (CyberSource, WorldPay, Chase, PayPal, Venmo) and vault migration
Fraud & Risk Management / Operational Efficiency
• Lead development of real-time fraud detection systems across all payment and loyalty flows
• Automate fraud remediation and account takeover (ATO) processes to reduce customer friction and operational overhead
• Launch payment reconciliation and refund systems to streamline financial operations and reduce support costs
• Partner with analytics and finance teams to identify and resolve payment discrepancies

Qualifications
• 5+ years in technical product management, with experience in POS, payments, or fintech, preferably in QSR or retail
• Strong technical background in payment systems, PCI compliance, and fraud prevention
• Proven success in scaling high-availability platforms and integrating with third-party processors
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; advanced coursework in Supply Chain is a plus
