ย Are you a skilled, hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in creating a safe and welcoming community? The REMM Group is seeking an experienced Multifamily Maintenance Technician to join our team at a beautiful apartment community in Hemet, CA.


The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and previous multifamily housing experience. This role requires experience with appliance repair, property cleanup, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical repairs, and apartment unit turns. Candidates must also have their own tools and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing a variety of maintenance needs.

Work Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Ensures completion of all apartment turnover. May assist with minor construction projects and renovations.
  • Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally, diagnosing and resolving issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general repairs and document repairs made in Yardi Voyager software.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to identify and address potential problems before they occur.
  • Maintain the Cleanliness and Curb appeal of the property, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Responsible for routine maintenance and emergency problems if needed.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed to obtain necessary parts and materials.
  • Communicate with excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with residents and staff.
  • Strategically plan how to turn units with your team.ย 
  • Keeps storage facilities and equipment organized and in working condition.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in multifamily property maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair principles.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to take initiative, working with a minimum amount of supervision.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Yardi property management software (a plus).
  • High Sense of urgency while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Candidate must be able to work in an environment in which demands and priorities change rapidly.
