In this position you will both live on-site in a company apartment while managing our storage facility, maximizing sales objectives and building rapport with customers via the phone, web, or in person. You will both have the opportunity to recommend marketing strategies and guide the growth of your storage facilities. Rent and utilities are included. Both of you will be on the payroll and qualify for benefits.

Center Storage Manager Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handle transactions, rentals and customer service.

  • Keep regular, detailed and complete records using mobile electronic tools.

  • Ensure cleanliness and security of storage site.

  • Communicate with the General Manager to keep them apprised of important updates.

  • Follow up on delinquent accounts.

  • Complete a daily storage facility inspection.

  • Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

Center Storage Manager Minimum Qualifications:

  • Driver's license and the ability to maintain a clean driving record

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Eye for detail

Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of walking both indoors and outdoors, occasions of remaining stationary, traversing spaces, repositioning to reach and use tools, and moving a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
