Leidos' Defense Systems Electronics Manufacturing Facility is seeking an Electronics Stockroom Supervisor to join our team of highly skilled planning and production scheduling professionals in the Huntsville, Alabama location.. This role requires an extensive background in Deltek Costpoint, or equivalent production scheduling software, and excels at building and executing production schedules that keep complex programs on track. The Production Scheduler will produce schedules and track performance across multiple production areas, ensuring efficient use of shared manufacturing resources.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate, efficient and safe operation of the Electronics Stockroom
  • Oversee the receiving of incoming material
  • Ensure Inventory Accuracy meets World Class Goals
  • Maintain and oversee a neat and orderly layout.
  • Oversee the kitting and issuing process for PC Boards, Cable / Wire Harnesses, and Box Builds.
  • Keep Certifications up to date for Stockroom Equipment
  • Generate reports that show kitted material shortages or excess material that needs dispositioned.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects such as lean storage initiatives and kitting optimization.
  • Provide weekend oversight for all Production Control activities as needed.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree and 5+ years of prior relevant work experience or a Masters with 3+ years of prior relevant work experience. Candidate will also have 2+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects. In lieu of a degree a Highschool diploma with 7+ years of experience will be considered
  • Experience with cycle counting and kitting electronic materials
  • Familiarity with Cable and Wire Harness Production and Terminology.
  • Proficiency in Deltek Costpoint.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Aptitude for finding solutions to complex scheduling and production challenges.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with various teams and departments.
  • Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in aerospace or defense electronics environments.
  • Flexibility to quickly adjust to changing customer demand and operational needs.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across multiple programs and functions to resolve conflicts and maintain delivery performance.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and Theory of Constraints concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret large amounts of data and isolate pertinent information.

Pay Range $82,550.00 - $149,225.00
