The student body, or Corps of Cadets, numbers 4,400, and each year approximately 1,000 cadets graduate and are commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army.
The West Point Association of Graduates (WPAOG) is seeking a part-time Stockroom Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of the WPAOG Gift Shop. Reporting to the Director Retail Operations, this role operates in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and plays a critical part in supporting seamless retail operations, accurate inventory management, and exceptional customer service across both in-store and Web Store channels.
The Stockroom Coordinator will support the Retail Team in the daily operations of the Web Store fulfillment team by coordinating merchandise flow, maintaining organized stockroom environments, and reinforcing inventory accuracy. This role ensures stockroom associates have clear direction, resources, and information to execute receiving, processing, and fulfillment tasks efficiently. Through consistent coordination and quality control, the position helps uphold the accuracy and reliability of orders that directly impact customer experience in both online and in-store settings.
The coordinator also contributes to reunion and event-related merchandise operations by assisting with pre-order organization, monitoring product movement, and supporting preparation and delivery timelines in partnership with the Stockroom Manager. This includes ensuring merchandise is properly staged, tracked, and ready for distribution during high-volume periods.
Working closely with internal teams and external vendors, the coordinator supports product lifecycle activities from receipt through fulfillment while maintaining efficient storage practices and organized stockrooms. The role also assists with customer and vendor communication related to orders, returns, and inquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
In addition to daily responsibilities, the coordinator supports major events including reunions, football games, graduation, and other special programs. Responsibilities may include preparing merchandise for off-site sales, coordinating shipments, and assisting with on-site execution as needed. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, adaptable, and comfortable balancing operational coordination with occasional customer-facing interactions in a dynamic retail environment.
A high school diploma or GED is required. Candidates should have approximately 2?5 years of experience in retail, warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or a related field. Proficiency with point-of-sale systems, inventory tools, and shipping platforms (UPS, USPS, FedEx) is preferred. The ability to lift up to 25 pounds, move merchandise, and work on ladders is required.
This is a part-time 29 hour per week position with flexibility required for weekends, evenings, and major events. Hours may increase during peak seasons such as reunions and holidays. This position does not offer benefits and will pay approximately $21-$23 per hour based on skills and experience.
