Job Summary:
The Stockroom Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and issuing materials, parts, and supplies used in the manufacturing process. This role ensures accurate inventory control, timely material handling, and supports production operations by maintaining efficient stockroom processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, and inspect for damage or discrepancies
  • Accurately label, store, and organize inventory in designated stockroom locations
  • Issue materials and components to production teams based on work orders or requests
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and regular audits
  • Record all stock movements in inventory management systems (ERP/MRP systems)
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages or reorder needs to supervisors
  • Follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or other inventory control procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks (if certified)
  • Assist with shipping, packing, and staging materials for outbound deliveries when needed
  • Comply with company safety policies and OSHA regulations

Qualifications:
