A Stock Control Clerk is responsible for monitoring, recording, and managing inventory levels to ensure that stock is available when needed and accurately accounted for.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily cycle count of electronic and non-electronic inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock databases in company system.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials.
- Count goods inward and compare against purchase orders and packing slips
- Monitor stock levels and identify shortages or excess inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and spot chd cks .
- Update stock movements, transfers, and adjustments in inventory systems.
- Prepare inventory reports for management.
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and sales departments.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of stock items.
- Follow company procedures for stock control and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Experience with electronic components
- Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications
- Associates degree or accountant in training.
- Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, or stock control is preferred.
- Knowledge of stock management software is an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years experience
