Marvin's Hardware is seeking a skilled and reliable Stihl Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Stihl power equipment, including chainsaws, trimmers,
blowers, and other small engines. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our customers receive high-quality
service and dependable equipment for their home and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair Stihl and other small-engine power equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance, tune-ups, and adjustments.
Test equipment performance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and inventory logs.
Provide customers with repair estimates and explain service recommendations clearly.
Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Stay up to date with Stihl service updates, product bulletins, and training opportunities.
Support store operations and team members as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years of experience in small engine repair (Stihl certification preferred).
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or with a team.
