Job Summary:
Fortune Brands Innovations, Inc. is an industry-leading home, security and digital products company. They are seeking a Lead Web Technologies Developer to provide technical leadership, collaborate with teams, and ensure the timely delivery of software initiatives aligned with business strategies.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams in adopting the right tools, frameworks, and technologies
• Assist team manager to create the team strategy including planning, forecasting, and monitoring your team’s work
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in real-time
• Collaborate with Digital and Direct-To-Consumer teams to ensure technology and resource alignment with the overall business goals and implementation plans
• Ensure deliverables are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry’s best practices.
• Stay updated on brand and commerce advancements to continually improve the architecture and design of e-commerce platforms.
• Inspire and lead other developers by creating a collaborative environment where innovation is celebrated
• Collaborating with cross functional teams within IT and throughout the business to identify top initiatives
• Lead efforts to identify opportunities to enhance technology and innovations
• Lead and/or participate in agile ceremonies such as story grooming, sprint planning, etc., may include project leader and administration responsibilities.
• May supervise the work of other team members
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s level degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 8 years of web development experience is required
• Deep knowledge of web frameworks such as Next.js, React, Angular, Node.js
• Strong knowledge of Git and CI/CD development
• Proven track record of successful, consumer-facing website implementation projects.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with: Commerce Platforms: Shopify, Commercetools, etc.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with: CMS: Bloomreach CMS, Sitecore, WordPress, Embraco
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with: API: Web Services, Web API, any other API platforms
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with: CDNs: Akamai, Cloudflare, etc
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with: PIM & DAM: Widen, Salsify, Stibo
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working with: Release Management: JIRA, Azure DevOps
• Experience with Understanding of design patterns, UX/UI design, best practices, technical architecture and data modelling
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate development testing
• Good understanding and working experience with Agile methodology using scrum/Kanban/xp
• Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
• Experience working on enterprise platforms and open-source technologies
• Strong documentation, communication, and project coordination capabilities.
