Job description

Location - Tiffin, OH
Hours - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (30-minute lunch)
Pay - $16.00 an hour
Position - Distribution Specialist
Main Purpose of Role:
Responsible for performing all daily tasks in the distribution department. These tasks must be performed in an accurate and timely order all while protecting the integrity of our product.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe and clean workspace
  • Report unsafe work conditions
  • Report all accidents regardless of severity, to distribution manager
  • Visually identify defects in product quality
  • Accurately identify and count product
  • Maintain and improve inventory accuracy
  • Report discrepancies in inventory accuracy
  • Perform proper semen handling techniques
  • Prepare necessary tanks to package orders
  • Prepare packaging materials to ship orders
  • Stage tanks for shipping
  • Package orders accurately and in a timely manner to meet order ship dates
  • Other duties deemed necessary by Distribution Manager

Skill Requirements:
  • Ability to learn company software
  • Perform basic math skills, addition, subtraction, multiply, and division
  • Accuracy
  • Multitask at times

Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to lift up to 70lbs routinely
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Liquid Nitrogen Exposure
  • Stress generated by need to meet many and frequent deadlines
