Job Description: Andrology/Endocrinology Laboratory TechnicianCompany Overview

The Center for Assisted Reproduction (CARE Fertility) is a leading fertility clinic dedicated to providing exceptional reproductive healthcare. We are seeking a motivated Andrology/Endocrinology (A/E) Laboratory Technician to join our team at our Fort Worth and Bedford locations.

Position Summary

Job Title: Andrology/Endocrinology Laboratory Technician
Job Type: Full-time, Entry-level
Location: Fort Worth and Bedford, TX
Salary: $23.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Additional Requirements: Weekend and holiday coverage required; willingness to work at both CARE locations.

Key Responsibilities

Under supervision, the A/E Laboratory Technician will train to perform the following:

  • Operate and maintain the in-house hormone analyzer, including quality control (QC), troubleshooting, maintenance, and result reporting.

  • Conduct complete semen analysis.

  • Perform sperm cryopreservation.

  • Prepare sperm for intrauterine insemination (IUI).

  • Prepare sperm for IVF/ICSI insemination.

  • Conduct sperm DNA fragmentation testing.

  • Manage inventory control and ordering.

  • Maintain frozen specimen storage.

  • Handle receipt, shipping, and disposition of samples.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Physical Science, or Biological Science.

  • Experience: No prior experience required.

  • Skills:

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.

    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Availability: Must be available for day shifts and flexible to cover weekends and holidays as needed.
