Job Description
Sika is looking for a Sample Lab Technician to join its growing team in Shakopee, MN.
  • The primary responsibilities for this position are centered around the application of products and systems manufactured and/or designed by Sika.
  • Additional responsibilities include cutting and sanding a variety of materials, and following the directions described by the data guides for the materials that are being used.
  • This position will be expected to keep track of the materials that they are using and notify the Sample Lab Supervisor of any materials that they are running out of.
  • On the job training and job appropriate P.P.E. will be supplied by the Sample Lab Supervisor.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift 65+ lbs
  • Willing to shave facial hair to wear a half-face respirator
  • Comfortable with strong, non-hazardous odors
  • Ability to work independently and on a team
  • Experience in carpentry, masonry, adhesives, waterproofing, flooring, concrete repair, façade systems, or coatings (preferred)
  • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge (preferred)
