PTP Process Steward- Services

The Job You Will Perform:
  • Lead and participate in the transformation of Global P2P processes, driving strategic initiatives to streamline and optimize operations.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for all operational issues related to the services process, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement a roadmap of continuous improvements for the P2P process, setting standards and managing exceptions to enhance overall performance.
  • Design and own the P2P process, including any automations, and be accountable for its performance and results.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation for services procurement by channel, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand and enhance end-to-end processes, including COE source, field procurement, staff procurement, and external vendors.
  • Prioritize and implement process and system improvements in coordination with the transformation manager, aligning with strategic objectives.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to gauge process performance and identify areas for further enhancement.
  • Coordinate training and change management to facilitate the adoption of new processes and technologies.
  • Prepare for the S4 Hana transformation in the services buy channel, ensuring readiness and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Act as the subject matter expert in all aspects of services procurement, providing guidance and expertise to internal stakeholders.
  • Establish and manage internal controls for the buy channel, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Support and oversee any Procure-to-Pay (PTP) integration or separation activities as needed.
  • Set objectives and lead a team of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) teams, providing mentorship, motivation, and support for their development.
  • Serve as an escalation point for operational issues, collaborating closely with BPO teams to ensure timely resolution and optimal process execution.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, or related field
  • Strong leadership skills, with proven experience in leading transformational initiatives and driving process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with experience managing complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address operational challenges proactively.
  • Knowledge of SAP S4 Hana and other relevant technologies preferred.
