Overview
Hours: 11pm-7:30am, rotating weekends and holidays
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Sterile Processing Tech II, in conjunction with the Operating Room Instrument Technician, is responsible for the inspection, preparation, and sterilization of instruments and instrument sets utilized in the Main Operating Room. Loads and unloads sterilizers.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 2 years experience in sterile processing. Preferred: 2+ years surgical instrument preparation experience; 5+ years in sterile processing. Must be knowledgeable about high level disinfection and instrument sterilization procedures.
Education/Licensure/Certification: High School diploma or equivalent. Current Central Service Technician Certification. Certification can be obtained within one year of employment with proof of 6 months working experience and completion of CS program and internship.
Pay Scale Information
$44,117.00-$72,478.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
