Position Summary:
The Remarketing Analyst II – Financial Operations plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity of financial transactions within the remarketing ecosystem. This position is responsible for auditing payment flows, verifying fund transfers, reconciling accounts, and supporting compliance with internal financial controls. Additionally, this role will assist with financial modeling, cost-benefit analysis, creating business cases for key initiatives, and supporting the annual budget process through forecasting, expense tracking, and variance analysis. The ideal candidate brings a strong accounting background, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to identify and resolve discrepancies.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and audit payment flows and reconcile financial data across systems for accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in fund transfers and payment allocations.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, and Operations to maintain compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Analyze trends and anomalies in payment data to identify risks or process gaps.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial assurance processes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline payment verification workflows.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency in financial tracking.
  • Develop business cases and conduct cost-benefit analyses to support strategic decision-making for key initiatives.
  • Support the annual budget process, including forecasting, expense tracking, and variance analysis to ensure alignment with financial goals.


Required Qualifications and Competencies:
Required Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial auditing, accounting, or payment reconciliation.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tableau).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Overtime required – as needed.
  • Travel 0-10% – as required.
  • Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Experience in automotive remarketing or asset management.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control frameworks.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • CPA or equivalent preferred.

Work Schedule This position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs. Typically, between the hours of 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed. Travel is required 10% of the time.
