At Stella & Chewy's, our drivers are an essential part of delivering premium nutrition to pets across the country. We're looking for a safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our transportation team and support our manufacturing operations through safe, reliable, and timely deliveries.

What You'll Do

As a CDL Class A Driver, you'll help keep our operations moving by safely transporting raw materials, finished goods, and equipment between company facilities, suppliers, warehouses, and customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety standards.
  • Complete local deliveries, pickups, and transfers between company facilities, suppliers, warehouses, and customers.
  • Perform trailer staging, trailer swaps, and yard moves using company tractors and fleet equipment.
  • Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
  • Operate Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and maintain accurate transportation documentation.
  • Ensure refrigerated trailers remain within required temperature specifications to maintain product quality.
  • Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and Hours-of-Service requirements.
  • Communicate route updates, delays, and equipment concerns with internal teams and external partners.
  • Adapt to changing production schedules and transportation priorities while providing outstanding internal customer service.
  • Perform additional transportation and logistics duties as assigned.


Schedule

Home Daily

12-hour Day Shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

3-4 Rotating Schedule

  • Thursday – Saturday, every other Wednesday
  • or
  • Sunday – Tuesday, every other Wednesday

Enjoy a consistent schedule with multiple extended weekends throughout the year.


What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Current DOT Medical Certificate
  • Minimum of 1+ years of verifiable Class A commercial driving experience
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Working knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
  • Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience transporting refrigerated or temperature-controlled freight
  • Experience in food manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG)
  • Experience using transportation management systems (TMS), GPS, or fleet management software
