Job description

A specialty steel fabrication shop located in Frenchtown, NJ is seeking a Miscellaneous Steel Detailer to join their team. Typical projects include: stairs, rails, ladders etc. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in drafting and design within steel construction industry.

 Job responsibilities: Develop detailed steel shop drawings and fabrication details; Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications; Maintain organized documentation of all design revisions and project files.  Job requirements: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SDS2 or Tekla; Strong understanding of steel fabrication and construction processes; Knowledge of AISC and AWS standards.  #IND
