Join iCook and iSTEAM After School as a STEAM or/and Cooking Instructor for our after school enrichment programs. Make a lasting impact on the lives of elementary students and give back to your community. We are a leading provider for after school programs and summer camps nationwide with hundreds of locations.
Your Role:
  • Lead interactive after-school sessions centered around STEM (or STEAM) and/or cooking, using provided curriculum.
  • Foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students can actively participate in hands-on experiments and creative projects.
  • Inspire a lifelong passion for learning by encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Our Ideal Candidate:

Your Schedule and Pay:
  • Pay is $60 per class (class is 1 hour long) The pay rate for this position accounts for approximately two hours of work, including 1 hour class time, necessary preparation, and clean up.
  • We will pair you up with the schools conveniently located near you
  • All classes run around the same time starting between 2-5pm (depending on the school) in the afternoon and run for 1 hour. You can only teach 1 class per day or up to 5 classes per week.

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire.
Physical Requirements: The physical requirements listed below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand and move throughout a classroom setting during program instruction.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and kneel as needed during program setup, instruction, and cleanup.
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, and transport program materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to load and unload program supplies from a vehicle, as applicable.
  • Ability to travel to assigned program locations.
