In this full-time role, you will work closely under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to implement and facilitate our patients' rehabilitation process. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in restoring physical functionality, alleviating pain, and preventing further disabilities in our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' skills and limitations under the guidance of a Physical Therapist, utilizing standardized assessment tools to ensure accurate evaluations.
  • Implement treatment plans that include exercise instruction, manual therapy techniques, and engagement in activities of daily living (ADLs), focusing on personalized goals.
  • Monitor patients during therapy sessions, documenting their progress, and reporting any significant changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Communicate effectively within the healthcare team to discuss treatment strategies, coordinate care, and address any modifications needed to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Maintain equipment and therapy areas to ensure a clean and safe therapeutic environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will primarily work with a diverse sports and orthopedic population, including individuals from high schools, universities, and professional sports backgrounds. Many of our patients are recovering from injuries or surgeries, and your support in their rehabilitation journey is crucial for their recovery and return to daily activities or sports.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Successful completion of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for Physical Therapist Assistants.
  • Current unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant licensure in Texas.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Preferred Experience
