Work Environment

The position is onsite at our state-of-the-art facility within a hospital setting, allowing you to work within a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in evaluating patients’ abilities and limitations, tailoring therapeutic interventions to best meet their needs.
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities under the supervision of a physical therapist, ensuring proper techniques are followed to promote patient safety and recovery.
• Monitor and document patients’ progress during treatment sessions, providing feedback and reporting any significant changes in their condition to the supervising therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on post-therapy care, exercises, and techniques to enhance their recovery at home.
• Utilize and maintain rehabilitation equipment and technology, ensuring a clean and safe treatment environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice specializes in working with a diverse range of patients, including high school, university, and professional athletes, as well as individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries and various musculoskeletal conditions. You will be instrumental in helping these patients regain their strength and mobility, guiding them through personalized therapy programs tailored to their specific needs.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Valid and unrestricted licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Texas.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly within a hospital or outpatient clinic environment.
• Hands-on experience with modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and therapeutic exercise.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $60,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
