Job description

About the role:
We're looking for a P6 Scheduler on behalf of our client. This is a 1 year contract assignment.(W-2) You will evaluate daily P-6 work schedules to improve equipment availability and manpower usage; recommend appropriate modifications. Publish daily work schedules and monitors progress. Document schedule problems, maintains statistics and performs trend analysis.
Be the liaison with engineering department and vendors to coordinate activities. You will manage the development of computerized critical-path schedules for daily maintenance activities and for refueling and maintenance outages. You will report to the onsite Manager.
Location: Palo, IA 52324- Per diem available
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, publish, and monitor daily schedules for refueling outages and daily maintenance; perform root cause analysis for schedule problems.
  • Must be knowledgeable of computer software programs, P6, Online scheduling applications, Work management processes

Qualifications:
  • 6 - 10 years technical experience preferably in a nuclear facility in Engineering, Maintenance, or Operations AND AS degree in Engineering or related physical science
  • Relevant Experience: Independently leads maintenance scheduling and trend analysis activities.
