The Role at a Glance

The Training Coordinator serves as the primary TEEX representative for the Permian Basin region by developing and maintaining relationships with municipal, volunteer, and emergency response organizations. Coordinates regional training opportunities, identifies customer needs, promotes TEEX programs, and supports business development initiatives while ensuring exceptional customer service and program growth. This position is in the Permian Basin Area of Texas consisting of the following counties: Midland, Ector, Reeves, Pecos, Loving, Ward, Winkler, Culberson, Andrews, Martin, Gaines, Howard, Glasscock, Reagan, Upton, Crane, Terrell, Crocket, and Yoakum.

This position reports to the Training Manager.

Qualifications of the Role

  • Bachelor's Degree in applicable field from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Two years of related experience in project coordination, and/or curriculum development, and/or delivery of adult training.

  • Must have a valid motor vehicle operator's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.

  • Firefighter I & II certification through the Texas Commission on Fire Protection or SFFMA.

  • Instructor II certification.

Equivalency: Will consider four years of related experience (Listed Above) with an Associate's Degree in applicable field from an accredited college or university OR six years of related experience (Listed Above) with a High School Diploma/GED.
