Days, M-F, On Site

State Technical College of Missouri is accepting applications for full time, 9-month annual contract, exempt, and benefit eligible Instructor position for the Heavy Equipment Operations & Management Program. Apply today at https://statetechmo.edu/human-resources/.
Required Qualifications: A minimum of five years of experience in the heavy equipment operations industry; as well as excellent communications, computer, and interpersonal skills. Up-to-date knowledge of the industry standards and safety regulations. A bachelor's degree or the willingness to earn one.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior teaching/training experience; especially in a hands-on or vocational setting; as well as five or more years of related work experience in Construction Estimation.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and construction estimating software
  • Solid understanding of construction means, methods, and materials
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to perform Quantity takeoffs and cost modeling
