High School for Recording Arts (HSRA) is a pioneering public charter school where education meets creative passion. We serve young people who are disengaged from traditional schools by integrating music, media, and entrepreneurship into rigorous, project-based academics. About the Role
We're seeking an innovative and committed Program Director to lead HSRA's educational programming. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and works closely with the core leadership group to ensure alignment of academic, artistic, and operational goals. The Program Director oversees curriculum design, staff development and evaluation, compliance, student achievement, and program innovation, all aligned with HSRA's mission to create meaningful learning pathways for underserved youth.
What You'll Do
Lead the design and implementation of project-based, competency-based learning programs
Supervise, mentor, evaluate, and develop licensed teaching staff and learning facilitators
Develop curriculum aligned with state standards and HSRA's creative learning approach
Collaborate with student support teams and families on personal learning plans (PLPs)
Ensure compliance with state and federal programs (e.g., Title I, ESSA)
Work directly with the Executive Director and core leadership group to set school priorities, align interdisciplinary efforts, and support continuous improvement
Monitor student progress toward graduation and postsecondary success
