We are looking for an entrepreneurial, dynamic, and customer-obsessed Principal Technical Program Manager to define and drive the joint technical architecture that spans multiple organizations. The ideal candidate will drive complex technical programs, balancing tactical needs with strategic vision. They will create and execute multi-year roadmaps in collaboration with senior leaders, Product Managers, and Engineers. They will build scalable mechanisms to address both internal engineering and customer needs, using data-driven decision making to set priorities and develop key metrics. They will possess strong communication skills for effective stakeholder management at all levels. They will have proven experience delivering large-scale technical programs, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for innovative customer and developer experiences.
Key job responsibilities
* Work with teams across engineering, product, science, legal, UX, and design to lead requirements and deliver customer facing experiences.
* Lead daily stand-ups, track progress against key milestones, and lead technical conversations.
* Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from early career university hires to senior executives.
* Represent the team in conversations and debates related to complex decisions, trade-offs, and solutions.
* Build relationships and manage by influence in a matrix organization to solve complex AI problems against tight timelines.
* Mentor other TPMs and serve as a role model across the organization on TPM best practices (e.g., status reports, workback plans, executive communications).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
