<p><b>Full-Time Hospice and Palliative Care Physician</b></p> <p><b>Aultman Hospital – Canton, Ohio</b></p> <p>Aultman Health System, a not-for-profit hospital serving Canton, Stark County, and surrounding communities, is seeking a full-time <b>Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hospice and Palliative Care Physician</b>.  The physician will provide expertise in caring for patients with life limiting, serious illness and their families.  Responsible for assisting with the provision and maintenance of medical direction to hospice/palliative care teams which includes consultation, review of patient care, staff education, and liaison activities within the medical community.  The overall goal is to improve quality of life for every patient and family we have the privilege of serving.</p> <p><b>Highlights:</b></p> <ul> <li style="margin-left:8px">Our main hub for hospice and palliative care services is located off campus at Aultman Woodlawn, about 10 minutes from Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio.</li> <li style="margin-left:8px">Aultman Woodlawn houses <ul style="list-style-type:circle"> <li style="margin-left:8px">Home hospice and palliative care services</li> <li style="margin-left:8px">The Compassionate Care Center which is our 12-bed inpatient unit</li> </ul> </li> <li style="margin-left:8px">Ambulatory Supportive Oncology Clinics embedded in our cancer centers at Aultman Hospital and Aultman Alliance Community Hospital.</li> <li style="margin-left:8px">Palliative Care consult services at all 3 hospitals in Canton, Alliance, and Orrville</li> <li style="margin-left:8px">Call duty, weekday & weekend call on a 1:4 rotation</li> </ul> <p><b>Job Qualifications:</b></p> <ul> <li style="margin-left:8px">M.D. or D.O. licensed to practice medicine in Ohio</li> <li style="margin-left:8px">Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship trained</li> <li style="margin-left:8px">Must be ABMS/AOA Board Certified/Board Eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine</li> </ul> <p><b>Compensation & Benefits</b></p> <p>• Competitive base salary with productivity incentives</p> <p>• Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, and malpractice coverage</p> <p>• Generous PTO, CME allowance, and relocation assistance</p> <p>• Educational loan repayment options may be available</p> <p><b>About Aultman Health System</b></p> <p>The Aultman Health System is a nonprofit healthcare organization serving Stark and surrounding counties.
