This role focuses on providing essential clinical support within our community health clinic system. The expected salary range for this position is USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually.

This position operates in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a collaborative ethos through virtual platforms. Counselors will work closely with multidisciplinary teams composed of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers. Our organization utilizes modern telehealth technologies and electronic health records (EHR), ensuring that clinicians have seamless access to essential tools and resources necessary for delivering high-quality care.

• Conduct clinical consultations with fellow staff members regarding diverse mental health challenges, offering insights on treatment strategies tailored to specific patient needs.
• Effectively interpret and convey vital patient information, including social histories, to the clinical team to optimize care integration.
• Coordinate and facilitate the planning of individualized care plans, making informed recommendations tailored to patients’ home environments and circumstances.
• Review and monitor patient treatment plans, adjusting strategies as necessary based on progress and feedback.
• Complete comprehensive progress notes post-session, ensuring timely documentations that comply with regulatory standards and reflect patient progress.
• Participate in regular team meetings, sharing insights and collaborating on patient management strategies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of best practices and clinical dynamics in mental health care.
• Perform additional administrative or clinical duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

The role emphasizes working with varied patient populations, including geriatric clients and those struggling with substance use disorders. Counselors will encounter individuals from diverse backgrounds, requiring an understanding of cultural sensitivities and tailored approaches to care. This is vital in fostering patient trust and encouraging engagement in the therapeutic process.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Possession of one or more of the following independent licenses is required: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently document clinical notes and observations post-interaction, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and colleagues.

• Prior experience working in community health settings or within mental health clinics is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and electronic health records is beneficial.
• Experience working with diverse populations and addressing multifaceted mental health conditions.
