The Testing Coordinator is an invaluable member of our staff that coordinates the effective implementation of required state, district, and school assessments.

The role of the Testing Coordinator may include, but is not limited to:

  • Organize, manage, and ensure implementation of all standardized testing within the school.
  • Create testing groups, schedule test sessions, assign test administrators, determine locations and monitor all statewide testing.
  • Coordinate and implement school level testing procedures and protocols.
  • Conduct training for test administrators and proctors.
  • Schedule and monitor computer based practice sessions.
  • Manage student information in online SIS and testing platforms (FOCUS, TIDE, etc)
  • Create a database of students with accommodations and ensure implementation of accommodations during statewide testing.  Ensure accommodations are active in FOCUS.
  • Maintain security of all testing materials while in the school.  Receive, prepare, distribute, collect, and return all secure testing materials.
  • Prepare, distribute, collect and maintain all required administrative documentation.
  • Attend state and district training sessions and meetings related to testing responsibilities.
  • Serve as liaison between school and district assessment coordinator.
