The Role
Standard Wellness Maryland is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Part-Time Delivery Driver to support transportation needs for our Cumberland cultivation and production facility.
This role will be responsible for safely transporting cannabis products, materials, supplies, and other company-related items between company locations and approved destinations. The Delivery Driver will play an important role in supporting operational flow, compliance, inventory movement, and communication between the cultivation facility, dispensary, and internal teams.
The ideal candidate is reliable, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a regulated industry where safety, accuracy, discretion, and compliance are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Transportation

  • Safely transport cannabis products, materials, supplies, and company-related items between approved locations
  • Follow assigned routes, schedules, and delivery instructions
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload items carefully and accurately
  • Maintain professional communication with internal team members during pickups and deliveries
  • Use GPS, route-planning tools, and company communication channels as needed
  • Report delays, vehicle concerns, route issues, or delivery discrepancies promptly
Compliance & Documentation
  • Follow all applicable state, local, and company requirements related to cannabis transportation
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, manifests, logs, and related documentation as required
  • Ensure transported items are handled securely and remain in compliance throughout the delivery process
  • Verify pickup and drop-off details before departure and upon arrival
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding routes, products, team members, and company operations
Vehicle Safety & Maintenance
  • Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks as assigned
  • Report vehicle maintenance issues, warning lights, accidents, damage, or safety concerns immediately
  • Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and professional in appearance
  • Follow safe driving practices at all times
  • Comply with company policies regarding vehicle use, fuel, mileage, and incident reporting
Operational Support
  • Assist with light loading, unloading, organization, and movement of materials as needed
  • Support cultivation, post-harvest, inventory, and retail teams with transportation-related needs
  • Communicate clearly with managers regarding delivery status, timing, and completion
  • Support process improvements related to transportation, logistics, and communication
  • Assist with other operational tasks as assigned when not actively driving
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Clean driving record required
  • Ability to pass a background check and Motor Vehicle Record review
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions carefully
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Comfortable working in a highly regulated environment
  • Prior delivery, logistics, transportation, warehouse, retail, or cannabis experience preferred
  • Cannabis industry experience is a plus but not required
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit and drive for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, load, and unload up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Ability to bend, reach, stand, walk, and move items safely
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions during pickups and deliveries
  • Ability to safely operate a company vehicle, when applicable
Working Conditions
This role is based out of the Cumberland cultivation and production facility and will involve local and regional driving between company-approved locations. The role may include time in cultivation, production, warehouse, dispensary, and delivery environments.
The Delivery Driver must be comfortable working in a regulated cannabis environment and following strict safety, documentation, and compliance expectations.
Schedule
  • Part-Time position
  • Schedule may vary based on operational and delivery needs
  • Daytime availability preferred
  • Some flexibility may be required based on delivery schedules, weather, business needs, or special projects
Compensation
  • $17-$19/hour, based on experience
  • Part-Time, hourly position
  • No company-sponsored benefits at this time due to part-time status
  • Maryland Sick and Safe Leave, as applicable
