Job description

Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Quality Control Specialist

Kosiski Auto Parts – Team PRP

5040 I Street, Omaha, NE 68117

About Us:

Kosiski Auto Parts is a leader in the recycled auto parts industry, dedicated to providing high-quality parts to our customers. We are currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Quality Control Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in auto body repair or auto body estimating, though it is not required.

Please Note: This position involves a combination of hands-on physical labor and computer data entry. This is not an eight-hour forklift job or repetitive assembly line work. We move fast, work hard, and only want the best to be part of our team. If you don't have a strong work ethic, please do not apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control: Perform detailed inspections on used auto parts (both body panels and mechanical parts) to ensure they accurately match sales descriptions and meet quality standards.
  • Documentation: Take clear photos of auto parts and update inventory descriptions in our computer system.
  • Inbound/Outbound Logistics: Unpack incoming parts (ranging from small boxed items to large palletized components) and palletize/box outgoing parts for secure shipping.
  • Loading/Unloading: Assist in loading delivery trucks and helping customers load/unload parts from their personal vehicles.
  • Team Support: Assist with additional yard and warehouse duties as assigned by the production manager and management staff.

Qualifications:

  • Work Ethic: Must be a reliable, hard worker with a positive attitude and a team-first mindset.
  • Punctuality: Attendance is critical. You must show up on time daily and leave the drama at the door.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient with computers and capable of comfortably using a company-issued cell phone for data entry and photos.
  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
  • Communication: Basic ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Experience (Preferred): 1 year in auto body repair/estimating and 1 year of forklift experience is a major plus (forklift training is available).

Schedule & Travel:

  • Full-Time: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Includes a 45-minute lunch break).
  • No Weekends!
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from work is required.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Starting Salary: $41,000 - $47,500 annually (depending on experience and work ethic).
  • Health Insurance
  • 401(k) with company matching contributions
  • Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Paid Holidays

If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! Please submit your application to join our team today.
