Job description

The Shop Manager is responsible for directing, overseeing and following up on the activities of the mechanics. They will manage the workload and be the primary contact for all shop related issues. The Shop Manager will make recommendations regarding the mechanics workload and pay changes, as well as any processes and procedures that would impact the department/company financially.
High School or equivalent
Intermediate computer skills
3-5 years of prior auto shop management (preferably in the transportation industry)
Strong communication skills; ability to make decisions and communicate professionally to staff
Ability to motivate staff and meet deadlines
Must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Bi lingual Spanish helpful
