Automotive Body Shop Manager - Sussex, DE
i.g. Burton is seeking a skilled and hard-working Body Shop Manager who is seeking a big opportunity! The right individual will be a self-starter, with a track record of success in delivering customer satisfaction while maintaining attention to detail. Essential functions, including but not limited to, are as follows:
  • Manage Body Shop staff and all processes therein.
  • Maintain good working knowledge of collision and paint repair and estimating skills (preferably with CCC One).
  • Ensure technician workflows are operating effectively and efficiently and customer needs are prioritized.
  • Maintain good working knowledge of parts identification and inventory.
  • Document all repairs and orders in accordance with Company processes and procedures.
  • Build and maintain excellent rapport and communications with vendors and insurance companies including negotiations with insurance companies.
  • Lead service management and reconditioning activities.
  • Maintain the profitability of the department while controlling expenses and ensure customer satisfaction and departmental quality control.
  • Maintain good working knowledge of all state/federal regulations that affect the operation.
  • Must be able to speak and read in the English language.
  • Must be able to maneuver around the property inside and outside.
  • Must be able to use computer and industry standard associated programs.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills with strong customer service focus.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • I-Car training and Reynolds experience a plus.
